Northwest Cup is an annual team competition between the GLTA clubs in Seattle, and our PNW neighbors, Portland, and Vancouver at the highest level of play - Open division.

Eligibility
In addition to active STA membership you’ll need a GLTA rating which can be obtained by playing in any GLTA tournament. Some exceptions may be made if you do not have a GLTA rating - please confirm with the captain(s).
Men
GLTA Rating A or Open
USTA Rating 4.0 and above
Women
GLTA Rating Open
USTA Rating 4.5 and above
Depending on the year and number of interested players, there may be a ladder or try out process to determine who makes the team.
Format & Location
Each participating club plays an equal number of matches (usually 10 singles & 6 doubles in total) against the other clubs. Whoever wins the most matches, wins the trophy and all the bragging rights.
The cup rotates locations each year as clubs take turns hosting.
